You’ve always wanted to see the inside of LVHS…now’s your chance! The “anchor” of our neighborhood has graciously welcomed us to have our meeting on campus THIS THURSDAY, 9/29 at 6:30 PM. We’ll try to keep the meeting brief, focusing on neighborhood updates, council elections and then we’ll learn about LVHS Robotics and STEAM programs from Dr. Mahesh Alur, the sponsor and coach of the LVHS Robotics Team. Join GWCA this Thursday 6/23 at 7:00 at Warner Park and Gardens (1444 W Warner) for a great meeting which will include:
- TreeKeepers – coming to talk about tree care and native trees.
- Representatives from the 47th Ward and CDOT – coming to share a proposal for protected bike lanes from Irving Park to Montrose and to discuss other safe streets possibilities in our neighborhood.
- The launch of registration for the 40th Annual Garden Walk.

The 2022 calendar of events will be detailed and we’ll also be awarding the first ever Golden Rake award for efforts during last year’s leaf cleanup and presenting scholarship funds to LVHS. Our quarterly neighborhood meeting will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 23rd at Warner Park and Gardens. In addition to normal business and council elections, we have a very exciting agenda that includes:

It has been 16 months since our last in-person GWCA meeting, so we are extremely excited for tonight’s meeting from 6:00 – 7:30 pm Warner Park.
