GWCA has 9 council members, who serve 18 month terms.  We do all possible to encourage neighbors of all ages, backgrounds and living throughout the neighborhood geography to serve on the council or as block reps or on a committee.

The past 12 council members have lived on Ashland, Belle Plaine, Berteau, Cullom, Cuyler, Greenview and Warner.  Going back to the last 20 council members, 3 have lived in apartments, 3 in condos, 8 in homes and 6 have owned and lived in 1-3 unit buildings.  Age has ranged from 23 – 73.
