Happy New Year GWCA members!
This is to update you regarding the Neighborhood Children’s Play Lot at Lake View High School. As you know, some play equipment is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced. Dara Salk, Community Outreach for Alderman Pawar’s office, Lake View High School and CPS are working together on this project. An evaluation was made and the intent is to replace the broken equipment; which was put out to bid 2014. The new equipment was ordered and is currently on backorder. The hope is that the work will be done before Spring. New wood chips were spread as part of the update in 2014.
