GWCA Community-Wide Street Leaf Cleanup – Sat, Nov 18, 9-11 am

As most leaves fall after the final city street sweeping, Graceland West Community Association encourages all neighbors to work together and clean up remaining street, curb, crosswalk and sewer grate leaves on Sat, Nov 18, 9-11.

Please encourage some neighbors to join you.  You can leave bagged leaves on your parkway and call 311 for a special pick-up.

Your efforts help prevent intersection, basement and vehicle flooding, eliminate rat habitat and make intersections and crosswalks safer for neighbors.  You also maximize winter street parking by eliminating piles of leaves.

Before the cleanup, please rake your yard and parkway leaves and clean under garbage cans and dumpsters.   Then on November 18th, please help get up remaining street leaves on your block.
