Wed, 6/21, 7 PM, Warner Park, Attract butterflies to your porch, deck, patio, yard

GWCA is having a “Pollinator Party”.  Ecologist Peter Leki and Lisa Hish are on our panel.  Learn how to attract butterflies and other pollinators to your yard, porch, deck, patio or parkway and how doing so can help prevent neighborhood stormwater flooding and standing water.

First 30 GWCA Member households will receive a gift; a small container and pollinator attracting seeds and polling soil.

19th District Police are attending.  We had an 11 pm armed attempted holdup or car jacking on May 24th in the 4100 block of Greenview and are seeing increased wheel and cat converter thefts and garage break ins and neighbors are reporting an increase in door knocking strangers.

Celebrate Summer Solstice with our annual pot luck.  (please bring a finger food to share – homemade if you’re able)
