GWCA Halloween Party is Saturday

Fall GWCA Meeting and Events:

  1. Our annual neighborhood Halloween Party is Saturday, October 24th, 2-4 pm at Warner Park. It’s led with parades at 1:30 starting at Cuyler and Greenview and at Cullom and Greenview. We hope all families with children will attend. Please email Libby to help libby@dewwed.com
  2. Also on October 24th, Lake View High School Open House 9 am – noon. Enter at door #6 on Ashland. email info@lvhspartners.org  to volunteer
  3. Lela Zerman, has partnered with GWCA, the Jose Rizal Center and Life Source to have a Halloween Blood Drive at the Jose Rizal Center on October 31st from 9 am – 3 pm. Please email Brad to register to donate blood brad@skyprocessing.com
  4. Leaf Clean-up is Saturday, November 21, 9-11 am and starts at Belle Plaine and Greenview. Wear gloves and bring 5-10 trash or leaf bags and a sturdy rake. Just meet or email Bruce to let him know you’re helping bbraun@sidley.com

  6. The next scheduled GWCA Meeting is Thursday, December 3rd, 6:30 pm in the Lake View High School Social Room. It’s our Holiday Pot Luck, Meeting and Elections. Please attend and bring one or two neighbors. Enter through Ashland door #6, the main entrance for LVHS.
  7. GWCAWalks.  Enjoy the Lake View High School track.  6:45 am or dawn is a great time to enjoy the track and say “hi” to a few neighbors.  The Lake View High School Campus and Community Park is open to the community when not in use by the school.  No dogs.
