Rain didn’t deter intrepid Garden Walkers who visited gardens carrying umbrellas or wearing Seattle type rain gear on Sunday, August 3rd. Mixed weather changed back and forth from comfortable and breezy with blue sky mixed with clouds to showers to drenching downpours.
40 gardens including the new rain gardens on the Berteau Greenway, Warner Park and Gardens and the Lake View High School Campus Park were featured. The insect petting zoo was a hit with children.
