My coworker lives near Paulina and Montrose in our neighborhood, and there was an attempted robbery outside her home on Saturday at 2PM. Two teenagers (one guy and one girl between the ages of 15 – 20) were talking on cell phones on opposite ends of the block and acting suspicious. The female teenager threw bleach in a passerby’s eyes and attempted to steal her purse. Neighbors ran after the teenagers, but weren’t able to catch them. Everyone on that block is now on high alert.
